Fall 2012 Hair Trends

THE PONY TALE

No matter worn high or low pony's are perfectly chic and #instacute.
Only takes about 2 minutes and you'll look like you just stepped off the runway.
Thats if you put enough effort into styiling the look and Im not talking the quick 2 second gym pony tale.

BANGS

Bangs are the ultimate hair accessory this fall.
If you got them flaunt up. Whether they're rounded short, long, square or swept to the side, bangs frame the face and accentuates the eyes. And if you dont have any bangs no worries, you could always consider clip ins!

COOLER, ICY BLONDES

Say Goodbye to the golden hues and hello to the icy blondes and creamy white highlights.
Always trust your colorist in deciding what shade is best for you depending on your skin tone.  If icy white is too extereme for your eye color or skin tone, then go more biege. Most importantly maintain the look, even if you have to see a colorist for a slight touch up every other week.

HAIR ORNAMENTS

One thing i love about fall is the increase in hair accessories. Hair pins, floral head pieces, Braided head bands and retro hair combs are my favorite.

Buns, Braids and Twist

Eve: Sexy Long Fishtail Braid

Braided around the crown, coiled half back or knotted into an up-do as you see Eve on the left, or me @Mzvibranthang on the right. Double fishtails and triple braids are also hot this season.  Although some of these hair styles take more skilled handwork than a simple do others put an attainable twist on classics. Hair is getting manipulated into a fresh new direction this season. Start watching somde how-to videos or hit up your local stylist, but you will be surprised how simple most of the hair styles are to do.

RICH CHOCOLATE COOL REDS

This season your going to shift into color especially with brunettes and reds. Color will go from less caramel to deep chocolate, less coppery to cool spicy crimson like.  When with your colorist for a consultation i suggest using foods as an visual. Like hot fudge or orange marmalade. Helps prevent an end result that will leave you disappointed.
